Dan and Dave started DDM Irrigation in 1987. 39 years later it's still family-owned, still at 640 51st Street.
How we got here
Started with one truck. Still on 51st Street.
Two brothers, Dan and Dave, started DDM Irrigation in 1987 out of Marion, Iowa. What began as a single truck putting in residential sprinkler systems has grown into a full-service irrigation shop covering twelve eastern Iowa counties, and it's still run by the same family.
The shop hasn't moved. 640 51st Street in Marion is where the trucks still roll out from every morning. Design, installation, repair, backflow testing, drainage, and seasonal service are all handled by the same crew, out of the same building.
Six of us are state-certified backflow test technicians. Every system we install ships with a 1-year warranty that includes the first fall winterization and the first spring start-up. We spec Rain Bird and Hunter parts because we can still get replacement heads for them ten years later.
